  • I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience helping adults navigate a variety of challenges and build more fulfilling lives. My practice is grounded in evidence-based treatment tailored to each client’s needs, within a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment.

Most recently, I served as a psychologist at the VA Ann Arbor and VA Pittsburgh Healthcare Systems, where I worked with Veterans coping with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related stress, sleep problems, ADHD, and substance use concerns. These experiences deepened my belief that meaningful change happens when science-based strategies are paired with genuine connection and compassion.

I draw from a wide range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Activation, Exposure Therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-Solving Therapy. I welcome adult clients seeking support with anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, attention and concentration difficulties, sleep concerns, life transitions (career/academic changes, retirement, relationship shifts), and health behavior change (such as reducing alcohol use or quitting smoking). Whether you’re interested in brief therapy or longer-term work, I will meet you where you are, using shared decision-making to ensure that treatment aligns with your goals and values.

Alongside my clinical work, I have been deeply engaged in research to improve care for substance use concerns. I have received multiple research grants, was recognized as a Rising Star by the Association for Psychological Science in 2023, and was a Fellow with the Implementation Research Institute at Washington University in St. Louis. I continue to serve as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan.

I'm a proud Michigan native with deep roots in metro Detroit. After earning my bachelor's degree with Distinction from the University of Michigan, I pursued advanced training at Villanova University, Penn State, and the State University of New York at Buffalo, where I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology. I then honed my clinical training by completing clinical internship at the University of Pittsburgh's Western Psychiatric Hospital and postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh and VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. My training and career have taken me across the country, but my passion has always been helping people make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
