  • Margaret Levasseur, LMSW, CCTP (she/her) is a therapist who works with adolescents ages 13+, young adults, and adults. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, relational, and guided by the goals of each client. Margaret is committed to providing personal and down-to-earth therapy in a respectful and non-judgmental space for clients of all identities, abilities, and bodies. She enjoys taking a mind-body approach and helping clients learn how trauma and emotions are stored in the body, and hopes for clients to feel more empowered and resilient. She also enjoys helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and learn the motivations behind their actions. Margaret considers humor to be a very important part of the therapeutic relationship. 

    Margaret prefers working through an attachment, trauma-informed, somatic, and psychodynamic lens. She specializes in anxiety, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and interpersonal issues. She is also comfortable treating sexual issues such as low desire, anorgasmia, and sexual pain. In her work with clients, she utilizes Trauma Informed Stabilization, CBT, DBT, and Psychodynamic Therapy. She is also certified in Somatic Attachment Focused EMDR, and is Level 2 trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. In continued self-study, she focuses on somatic work, psychodynamic therapy, intergenerational trauma, and parts work. 

    Margaret earned her MSW in 2017 from the University of Michigan and also earned a certificate in Sexual Health in 2020, focusing on Sex Therapy, from the University of Michigan Sexual Health Certificate Program. She is also an NASW Certified Supervisor, and can provide supervision to social workers. 


    Margaret is a native Michigander who loves all things running, biking, yoga, coffee, and cats.

  • $175 per standard therapy session

    A limited number of need-based sliding scale spaces are available.
