With mindfulness as her foundation, Anique uses a holistic mind-body approach to help her clients attain emotional wellness. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families - both individually and in groups. By guiding her clients through individualized practices that calm the nervous system, balance emotions, reduce stress, and create positive changes in the way the brain functions, she empowers them with practical tools for mental, physical, and emotional health. She specializes in working with individuals with high sensitivity, anxiety, depression, and difficulty managing emotions. She incorporates a variety of research-validated techniques from mindful awareness practices, including various forms of mindfulness, meditation, breath work, and yoga.

Anique holds a Master’s degree in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University, a certification in mindfulness education from Mindful Schools, as well as both adult and child yoga teacher certifications. She has extensive training in mindful awareness practices, including a year-long intensive mindfulness course and a six-month fellowship in somatic meditation and breath work.
